I followed the doc on www.gentoo.org about "kde enviromnet setup", and I emerged hald and dbus, but when I add my account to the group plugdev, it report that unknown group. Of cause my flash disk can not auto mount.
Why? I don not know. Please help me.
Thanks. |

Hmm ok - seems quite an overkill to me to emerge a package just to get a group ... but I'm sure you will need this as well to set up your KDE environment correctly

Moved from Installing Gentoo to Duplicate Threads in favour of useradd: unknown group plugdev. _________________ No-one's more important than the earthworm. |
