Ok, so I have them mounted, but only Root has access to them. If I use a root console and do a:
chmod +r /win
(/win being being the mount directory)
It says:
changing permissions on /win: Read only file system
But nothing ever happens, or changes, or anything.
I just to be able to mount my CDROMs and NTFS Drives for reading as a regular user (not Root).
Thanks!

To allow users to mount them add the option 'user' or 'users' in fstab. To allow users to enter it add umask in the options, i.e. 'umask=000' to remove every permission. _________________ I may not agree with what you say, but I'll defend to the death your right to say it. |
