Hi, has anyone gotten this configuration to work?
I received a Cnet CWP-854 PCI today, and was expecting to use the rt2500 driver with native wpa support, but they have changed the chip on the card, so no I have to use Ralinks own RT61 driver.
The installation went fine, and the card is working perfectly without authentication.
Code: |
lynx Module # insmod rt61.ko
lynx Module # dmesg
ACPI: PCI Interrupt 0000:00:0d.0[A] -> Link [LNKA] -> GSI 11 (level, low) -> IRQ 11
RT61: Vendor = 0x1814, Product = 0x0302

When I turn on the wpa bit, things change.. My /var/log/messages gets filled with these:

I haven't bothered to test WEP yet, it's useless anyway. |
