ebuilds and licenses

I'm putting together an ebuild for ImageScan! from Epson to submit for the portage tree, but I ran into a few questions that I hoped someone with more experience in the Gentoo protocols could help me with.

First, the license is a bit of a hybrid between GPL2 and a object file distribution license (http://www.epkowa.co.jp/english/linux_e/lsd_dwn_e.html). How should I handle this case in the license field of the ebuild? What is this field used for in Portage as well?

Second, how should I handle downlaoding the source? I've had some ebuilds where they required me to go download the source files themselves and therefore I would manually accept the license agreement (j2sdk does this). Would this be a good way of dealing with the unique licensing situation?
