|
|
I'm using ~x86 and have openoffice 2.01. After my last system update I ran revdep-rebuild (as I always do) and it found:
Code: |
Packages containing binaries and libraries broken by a package update
will be emerged.
Collecting system binaries and libraries... done.
(/root/.revdep-rebuild.1_files)
Collecting complete LD_LIBRARY_PATH... done.
(/root/.revdep-rebuild.2_ldpath)
Checking dynamic linking consistency...
broken /usr/lib/openoffice/program/libofficebean.so (requires libjawt.so)
done.
(/root/.revdep-rebuild.3_rebuild)
Assigning files to packages...
/usr/lib/openoffice/program/libofficebean.so -> app-office/openoffice
done.
(/root/.revdep-rebuild.4_packages_raw, /root/.revdep-rebuild.4_package_owners)
Cleaning list of packages to rebuild... done.
(/root/.revdep-rebuild.4_packages)
Assigning packages to ebuilds... done.
(/root/.revdep-rebuild.4_ebuilds)
Evaluating package order... done.
(/root/.revdep-rebuild.5_order)
All prepared. Starting rebuild...
emerge --oneshot -p =app-office/openoffice-2.0.1
These are the packages that I would merge, in order:
Calculating dependencies ...done!
[ebuild R ] app-office/openoffice-2.0.1 USE="-binfilter%"
|
but when it runs I get the following error
Code: | =============
Building project boost
=============
/var/tmp/portage/openoffice-2.0.1/work/ooo-build-2.0.1.3/build/ooa680-m1/boost
ERROR: Error 11 occurred while making /var/tmp/portage/openoffice-2.0.1/work/ooo-build-2.0.1.3/build/ooa680-m1/boost
make: *** [stamp/build] Error 1
!!! ERROR: app-office/openoffice-2.0.1 failed.
Call stack:
ebuild.sh, line 1894: Called dyn_compile
ebuild.sh, line 941: Called src_compile |
it then gives some suggestions:
Code: |
revdep-rebuild failed to emerge all packages
you have the following choices:
- if emerge failed during the build, fix the problems and re-run revdep-rebuild
or
- use -X or --package-names as first argument (trys to rebuild package, not exact
ebuild)
or
- set ACCEPT_KEYWORDS="~<your platform>" and/or /etc/portage/package.unmask
(and remove /root/.revdep-rebuild.5_order to be evaluated again)
or
- modify the above emerge command and run it manually
or
- compile or unmerge unsatisfied packages manually, remove temporary files and
try again (you can edit package/ebuild list first)
To remove temporary files, please run:
rm /root/.revdep-rebuild*.?_* |
Which I have tried.
OpenOffice seems to run fine. I'm not sure what "boost" is or libofficebean.so. Just to be safe I re-emerged openoffice and the Sun Jave jdk. However I still get the rebuild error.
Thanks for any help. |

I have the exact same issue with openoffice-2.0.2-r2... was there ever any resolution to this issue, or does someone have an idea?
Thanks,
Jason |
