Infatti; ha installato gli split di kdebase (kdebase-meta?) e ora è chiaro che kdebase non si installa.

non ho mai installato kdebase o simili ho installato solamente programmi che hanno come dipendenze "pezzi" di kde

Davvero? Mi sembra strano che qualche programma richieda gli split, ma probabilmente poiché non avevi kde (vedo gli N) la dipendenza principale è stata scelta come quella meno "pesante".
In ogni caso io fossi in te installerei kde-meta invece di kde, tanto dicono che dal kde4 ci saranno solo gli split in portage.
