When I try to use a GL screensaver I get an error about my virtual memory being limited to 50MB, and it suggests I look for a ulimit -v command in my startup scripts.
I don't have any such command anywhere, and ulimit -a says I'm unlimited as any user.
I'm using xscreensaver 4.05, X 4.2.1, and nvidia GLX & kernel 1.0-4191.
I load the glx module and use the nvidia driver in XF86Config.
I can run the screensaver commands by hand in a window, but if I try '-root' nothing displays, but it shows up in top.
Any ideas?
Thanks. |

| What wm are you using? Some wm's hide the real root window behind some apparent root window that it draws its background on. |

Enlightenment 16.5.
The non 3D screensavers work just fine.
And running '-root' by hand does work on the 3D ones. It just hits desktop 0 and I was on another when I tried it.
But the ulimit problem is still there. |
