Its there any program under linux that basically do a image of my 10GB hard drive and copy it to a bigger one. I would like in the future to upgrade my drive and I just don't want to install everything again. _________________ Show me the Linux! |

you can fart about with dd and make an image, but to be honest the simplest way I have found is to add your new HD, boot from a gentoo install cd and partition your new drive, mount both root partitions (the old and the new) and use rsync to copy everything from one to the other. chroot into the new drive, tweak your fstab if needed and install grub as per usual. |
