Hey,

When I emerge acx100, the file fw.tar.bz2 reports a bad size and therefore wont emerge. Same error when downloading the ~ version.

I searched acx100 on the forum and found another post, three or so posts below this one.

The guy suggested running this:

Code:

ebuild /usr/portage/net-wireless/acx100/acx100-0.3.20.ebuild digest

It worked for me :) Hope it helps.

Thx, just ran into the same problem and posted this bug: http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=120478 to notify someone about this problem.

And it seems they work flawlessly under AMD64, too - at last I'm networked at my school, too :) the admins there just refused to add any other MACs than those of their WLAN-cards....

sorry for the lateness of my reply. I gave up on the acx100 module because I had some trouble getting it working. I had to do it all by ndiswrapper, and after a little fiddling, everything it working fine expect for a nasty error message at boot that I keep putting off getting rid of. I try not to use ebuilds that aren't in the offical tree.

Thanks for the reply. :D Some days I could just throttle my Gentoo boxes for misbehaving so much!
