Need to recompile VMWare modules on every reboot

Since yesterday, everytime I reboot my pc vmware doesn't find its kernel modules and I have to recompile them again. I've never had this problem before... What could it be?

Here is the error:

Could not open /dev/vmmon: No such device.
Please make sure that the kernel module `vmmon' is loaded.


Shouldn't vmware modules be loaded on boot??
