emerge problem

I'm having a problem emerging......

while trying to emerge, the following error occurs

emerge (14 of 42) media-libs/gdk-pixbuf-0.21.0 to /usr/sbin/ebuild.sh: /usr/portage/media-libs/gdk-pixbuf/gdk-pixbuf-0.21.0.ebuild: line 61: syntax error: unexpected end of file

What is going on and how do I get around this?

can you give us your ebuild file ?

Hi,

I saw the same error today. If you look at the file gdk-pixbuf-0.21.0.ebuild, see if the final function has it's closing parenthesis. Mine didn't. What I did, was to remove that file and do 'emerge sync'. After this, I still got the same error. I redeleted the file and did 'emerge sync' again. This time the file was complete. I also changed my rsync server each time. Maybe it's that some servers have this file incomplete.
