| Now I am pretty new to gentoo and won't even try to put naim 0.11.8 on the portage tree. Can somebody put it up? I know there is an entry in bugzilla regarding the ebuild. Versions below 0.11.8 don't work anymore (outside of patched ones). I asked the naim developer. He asked me to encourage gentoo to put it up on portage. |

Moved from Other Things Gentoo to Unsupported Software.
bug #111195 contains the ebuild for naim 0.11.8. If you want to help get it into the portage tree, test the ebuild and comment on the bug saying whether it worked and how stable it is.
To learn how to emerge naim from the ebuild on bugzilla, read http://gentoo-wiki.com/HOWTO_Installing_3rd_Party_Ebuilds _________________ www.gentoo.org.au || #gentoo-au |

| Thank you. I will comment on the bug. Well I can't say if it's stable (I just tried it for a few minutes) but it works. What happens after that? |
