| their shouldn't be any problems but some boards require a null card in the slot where the second cpu would be. a single board should be much cheaper to buy though.. |

If you're saying that it's because you never did dual! _________________ "Is this type of thing going to happen every time we switch to improbability drive?" "Very probably I'm afraid." |

| Maybe he's going to wait until the processor he wants for the second slot goes down in price. |

Anyway, every dual P3 mobo I've seen works with a single processor. In fact, one of my dual P3 mobos broke and now only works in a single processor mode. _________________ I don't believe in witty sigs. |

| At least my BP6 would work perfectly with one CPU. |

| Yeah, I have a BP6 and it works with one and doesn't need a null card. Some dual-mobos DO need the null card though - completely depends on the board. My Compaq ML350 600mhz server has the null card in the 2nd slot. |
