rp-pppoe and X.

The install doc says to use "USE -X" emerge rp-pppoe to force rp-pppoe not to install the optional X interface.

The thing is, "emerge -p rp-pppoe" doesn't show X as a dependancy.

So Im just wondering, is the install doc wrong, or is -p wrongly not showing the X dependancy which it will install if I don't specifiy -X ?

For the record I manually used -X, but for future reference, Im curious if I can rely on emerge -p to specify If X will be emerged or not. This is all on my server and In its wildest dreams it will never see X or a desktop interface.
