|

Hello,
I just emerged mplayer-bin to use the win32codecs.
When I try to run the mplayer-bin I get the following error:
Code: | /opt/mplayer-bin/bin/mplayer-bin: symbol lookup error: /usr/lib/libGL.so.1: undefined symbol: _nv001206gl
|
I have these in my /usr/lib dir
Code: | lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 17 Dec 14 16:48 /usr/lib/libGL.so.1 -> libGL.so.1.0.7676
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 518220 Dec 14 16:48 /usr/lib/libGL.so.1.0.7676
|
And locate gives me this:
Code: | locate libGL.so.1
/usr/lib64/opengl/nvidia/lib/libGL.so.1.0.8174
/usr/lib64/opengl/nvidia/lib/libGL.so.1
/usr/lib64/libGL.so.1.0.7676
/usr/lib64/libGL.so.1
/usr/lib32/opengl/nvidia/lib/libGL.so.1.0.8174
/usr/lib32/opengl/nvidia/lib/libGL.so.1
/emul/linux/x86/usr/lib/opengl/xorg-x11/lib/libGL.so.1.2
/emul/linux/x86/usr/lib/opengl/xorg-x11/lib/libGL.so.1

Re-emerging nvidia-kernel and nvidia-glx didn't help.
Should I change te link? To 64 of 32 bit libraries? How come their are 2 version, 8174/7676? |

See the conclusion of this thread:
https://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-t-405472-highlight-libgl+1.html
I changed /usr/share/eselect/libs/multilib.bash per the instructions there, then re-ran `emerge opengl set ati` (you may need to replace ati with nvidia or something).
I had the problem with mplayer (not mplayer-bin) and this fixed it. |
