The new system is running great! very stable so far. The only thing that won't build is sox...it seems to have problems with the alsa module...

Any ideas?


I've had the same problem with the new nitro, possibly post it in the nitro release post.

I just did, echo media-sound/sox -alsa >> /etc/portage/package.use, I do not use sox anyway, so negating the alsa use flag fixed it.

Or, Possibly drive alsa-driver, rather than in kernel driver.
