Wich is faster?
I supose that hardware one is better, but is really noticeable?
Note: I'm currently using a PDC controller with 2 ATA 100 disks, and using software RAID.

Elsewhere, I choosed software because I was not able to configure GRUB for working with hardware RAID. I was not able in SUSE too.
