LEON2 SPARC Processor

Hi,

Can anyone tell me if there might me any incompatibility in the Gentoo Linux SPARC port while running on a LEON2 SPARC Processor (http://www.gaisler.com/cms4_5_3/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=12&Itemid=52).

There were some patches sent to the sparclinux mailing list to support them in the kernel, but i don't know if they were taken upstream.
Also the LEONs are basically custom chips used by the ESA or whoever wants to make them (or program them in a FPGA).
In theory gentoo should work right away on them since they're V8 (sparc32), but i don't see much use in this atm.

Do you actually have a system or whatnot which uses a Leon ?

He may have some FPGA eval board and rebuild the leon for that target.
But then it wouldn't be too useful without real silicon -> better performance and cheaper.
