make: *** [unicode/libwine_unicode.so] Error 2

Compilation failed, aborting install.

Am i wasting my time trying to do this or should i just bite the bullet and buy it? I would probably like to get it working without paying as i cant see the point of buying software to run other software that i have all ready purchased!!!

Thanks :)

The thing with the CVS access is that it really, genuinely blows. The TransGaming CVS hasn't really been updated in a long long time...

As for whether you should pay for the product, I won't try and sway you either way, but I'm a subscriber. Check out the appdb they've got http://transgaming.org/gamesdb/ to see if the game you want to play will play or how well. Their forums might be good too: http://www.transgaming.org/forum/ even though you can't post on them, you can read others' complaints or praises.

It's really hit or miss. I got the subscription to play WoW for a few months and the occaisonal game of Counterstrike. Now I'm waiting for them to support Civilization IV, which I'll probably play until doomsday.
