i use:
virtual desk 1: kde blue default: xmms and gkrellm
virtual desk 2: fluorescence6: black with blue detail: two konsoles with orange letters and transparent background
virtual desk 3: black / blu (similar to the one above): several p2p
virtual desk 4: blue flower (quasi black): two tabbed konquerors and one mini-konsole.
been using this for months without changing nothing and it's really pretty

Mine is mostly green in a matrix-like kind of style: green blurry and overlayed code over a black background.

Sheesh, the polls are getting worse and worse nowadays...
Aaaanywayz, I prefer black/gray and black/darkblue ... I just like the style, it makes me happy...

changing a lot of times... first white (with some blue), then blue (with some white  ) now grey (also with some white ) and whatever comes around tomorrow. I like the change but mostly it's just: I don't know what to do so I might as well just change the look of my desktop

I'm using kde with four virtual desktops and each of them have different wallpaper. the first is mostly blue, second is green/blue, third is blue and fourth is yellow.

I like Dark Blue, Purple, or Dark Green wallpapers. I have heard that some people prefer solid colors as wall papers because they refresh much faster than pictures that have many features.
