I am not sure if it is the right place to post, i just wonder if i can get the procedure of creating ebuilds. I mean there are many packages with just ebuilds even not marked as hard-masked. For instance, why gcc 4 has been being waited so long? It's not even masked, same for gnome 2.12(i know, it is ~ now, but we waited).
For the installation part, i think i will use gcc 4 and gnome 2.12 in my next installation but i am not sure whether gcc 4 is mature enough to give a try. Noone thinks it's been a while?
Again sorry if it is not the right group... |
