[forums-announce] Forums will be down for maintenance

The forums will be down later on today at 18:00 UTC for maintenance including upgrading to the latest version of phpBB which will fix the problem with avatars. The forums should be down for less than one hour.

The upgrade has now been completed and non-gallery avatars have been re-enabled. There were some avatars who's file encoding didn't match up with the file extension, these have been removed from the forums. If your avatar has been removed I've got a backup copy if you want it.
