Hi ...

I got a newly installed gentoobox and I am now trying to emerge KDE 3.1. The emerge breaks in kdeaddons for some reason.

Code:
if test "$ret" = 0; then echo '#include "mediawidget_skel.moc"' >> mediawidget_s
kel.cpp; else rm -f mediawidget_skel.cpp ; exit $ret ; fi
/bin/sh ../../../libtool --silent --mode=compile --tag=CXX g++ -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -

After some reseach today I found that I was missing /usr/lib/libvorbis.la and that a symlink was missing to libvorbis.so.0.2.0.

So, yet again I try to emerge KDE... lets hope it works now.

/Roger

Just writing to tell you that I have a working KDE under my
Hands atm - what a beauty!

Re-emerging libvorbis did the job perfectly.

Thanks for that Tip!

I just experienced this today, perhaps it's something that needs to be changed in the ebuild?
