Hi All,
I want to be able to check the temperature of a Netra T1 running Gentoo 2.4.
I've found "sensors-detect" and install docs here: https://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic.php?t=52815
Unfortunately i2c doesn't emerge though.
Is there another way of connecting to the insides of the box (like "lom -a" on Solaris) ?
Many thanks,
Jon |

AFAIK there is no temp reading in the linux kernel atm for sparc systems.
I have two Netra T1's I would love to trim down in fan speed/noise, but it's can't be done, sadly...
I have heard there was some support in the 2.2.x kernels for temp reading/adjusting fan speed, but that never made it into 2.4.x or even 2.6.x. _________________ Mac Pro single quad 2.8GHz, 6GB RAM, 8800GT. MacBook. Plus way too many SUN/Cobatl/SGI and a lonely Alpha. |
