I know this can bo done... I KNOW it can. I just can't figure it out.
I have a second gfx card on my computer so I can use dual monitors.
What I want to do is have x11 start up on the second monitor (at 640x480) with xawtv taking up the whole screen. I don't want any input on that screen. I want my monitor and mouse to stay on the primary monitor and just use xawtv-remote to control the tv.
No wm needed. I know you can start up X and xawtv like that, but the problem is, I can't figure out how to get X up and running without specifying a mouse and keyboard to it.
I've thought about trying to get a framebuffer working on that monitor and use fbtv but no matter what I try I can't get a framebuffer going on it. It's a voodoo3 and whenever I try using the 3dfx framebuffer my computer locks up during boot after a message about mtrr's.
Does anyone have any ideas that could help me out? Thanks. _________________ Shoot Pixels Not People
