I've been trying to install engage for a while to run on top of gnome. It keeps failing at app-misc/examine-9999 with

Yum, didn't notice the -* KEYWORD masking (probably should have checked that out :|). As vapier states in the bug, ecore is out of date. Until then this will fail.

wait... how did you solve this?? I get an error that is about the same.. or is it solved by you not using any apps that need app-misc/examine-9999? if so then i should better switch to a different less broke gui... well here is the error anyways
