Kat doesn't seem to index any metainfo on my mp3's. Is this working for you? I have kdemultimedia-kfile-plugins-3.4.1, I don't know what else it would need. |

Yes,
ID3-Tags are indexed in kat here. Meanwhile, I've changed to "fresh brewed" svn checkout of kat. This seems to work more stable for me. BTW: I'm using kat on KDE 3.5-beta1.
I'm not an expert on KDE kfile plugins, but I would suppose, too, that kdemultimedia-kfile-plugins should be the right plugin. Do you have installed taglib, which was used by Amarok, for example? |
