Hi,
as many others I have problems with the libungif and giflib packages. Now I updated the system by emerging libungif, updating kde, removing libungif and emerging giflib again. This worked but now I have many broken links when I am calling revdep-build.
Code: |
...
broken /usr/X11R6/lib/libimlib-gif.so (requires libungif.so.4)
broken /usr/X11R6/lib/libImlib.so.1.9.14 (requires libungif.so.4)
broken /usr/X11R6/lib/imlib2/loaders/gif.so (requires libungif.so.4)
...
|
How can I fix this.

I am not 100% sure, but revdep-build should tell you that is going to reemerge the packages that are broken. |

Hi manucorrales,
You are right, thank you for your support.
I deleted as written in the output of the revdep-build call:
Code: | rm /root/.revdep-rebuild*.?_* |
Abd then I called revdep-build again, so all broken packages was automatically rebuild again.
