Hi, all.
I originally posted this at the top of the forum, not noticing that I was replying to a sticky... my apologies.
Here is a normal entry:

Hi, guys.
Sorry to be a pain, but i'm really confused. i guess moving house was worse than I realized!!!!!
I now have my lovely litlle SS20 waiting for some Gentoo, but I have no idea which image to use.
In order of priority, this is what I would like to try:
1. Live CD for sparc32
2. anything for sparc32
3. something for sparc64 (which sounds like it shouldn't work).
Please advise (a URL would be helpful).
Thanks,
Chris. |

adaptr,
Thanks for that. I'll have a read. A quick flick through didn't seem to indicate a URL for a good (preferably LiveCD) ISO. I have looked at the mirrors, but unless I am missing something, they seem to point at the 64bit version.
Can anybody help with a URL. I don't mind doing a Stage 1, but previous posts seem to infer that this could take weeks on my humble SS20.
Thanks,
Chris. |

The stages are on the mirrors, but the LiveCD is still experimental; Google for "gentoo sparc livecd" and see what you get. _________________ >>> emerge (3 of 7) mcse/70-293 to /

Adaptr,
Thank you for the Google advice, I don't know why I didn't think of that.
Unfortunately, it still only gives me 64 bit images .
Thanks,
Chris. |

Well, i've decided to download an image entitled 20050308. I don't think this is the most upto date telease, but it's the best I could find. |

Yup,
As per new post, am now downloading an ISO, although it may be a bit old.
Thanks,
Chris. |
