on a pda?
I have my zaurus development system all setup, and since I'm going to be home sick the next few days I figured I'd try to do something "productive" every so often instead of sitting around playing shinobi the whole time.
So what are some good idea for apps (or games) you'd like to see on a pda? _________________ Shoot Pixels Not People

VIM for PalmOS!!!
Ah, but since you have the bucks for a Zaurus, you won't care about your poorer PDAing cousins, running about with their outstretched Palm.
God, I hate Memo Pad. |

LOL!
Yup.. I would like to stick to apps/games for the Zaurus... PalmOS dev looks quite complicated anyways...
If anyone wants to buy me the PEG-NZ90 CLIÉ Handheld (it IS a palm pilot...) then I'll get right on figuring out PalmOS dev and get a copy of vim ported _________________ Shoot Pixels Not People

The zaurus is a pocketPC device. correct?
A simple app that is in demand on the PocketPC platform is a utility to convert the PIM data to flatfiles for use with the upcoming releases of synce...
Just a suggestion. |

PocketPC means a device that runs WindowsCE, so technically the Zaurus is NOT a PocketPC. I'm not sure what you mean by flatfiles, but if you mean what I think you mean that is already how the Zaurus stores files and that is my target platform Sorry.

Uh.. no.. but yes It doesn't run X to start with, but you can put X on it, lol. It does run Qtopia which means setting up cross platforms apps using Qt should be fairly "easy" ...
Hmm... Frozen Bubble clone.. Check! Thanks! I think I might try that one. There doesn't seem to be a clone of it for the Zaurus yet so people might actually like it _________________ Shoot Pixels Not People

| What I find the funniest thing is that the Zarus runs linux, but can not connect to it! |
