ZAngband on amd64

Has anyone been able to play ZAngband on an amd64 system? It's not currently keyworded at all for the amd64 arch, so I tried unmasked it with the x86 keyword.

The compilation went perfectly fine however, the game seems to get stuck and not do anything during the stats generation part of the character creation :s I tried both the X and curses interfaces, still the same problem.

I guess this must be why it's not keyworded for amd64, it doesn't work ;)
