If you are using gnucash (or gtk in general I imagine) apps that don't seem to understand unicode.... you can get your old functionality back on an app by app basis. Just set LANG and LC_ALL to be en_GB instead of en_GB.utf8 (In my case) and launch the application as usual. I've used bash aliases to achieve this functionality so I never have to remember to set the variables. _________________ Where there's open source , there's a way. |
