Hi there,
i'm trying to find out how I can do an "emerge -e world" and keep all the packages in exactly the version I emerged it. As far as I understood portage by now it would up/downgrade all packages to the ACCEPT_KEYWORDS defined in make.conf. which would mean that if I have gaim-cvs installed it would be downgraded to the latest x86 versioin in portage. But I just want to remerge it, well gaim wouldn't be the problem but I made major changes to my useflags and would like to recompile everything with exactly the same version number.
And second I emerged mozilla with gtk2 which forced me to type ' WANT_GTK2="yes" emerge mozilla" ' ok no problem, BUT if i would do an "emerge -e world" it brake when it compiles mozilla and tell me that I would have to use that WANT_GTK2 switch, can I somhow avoid this?
