I want to install xmms and mplayer without kde and qt packages
I set up -kde -qt in USE but emerge still wants to install kde-base.qt and arts
I am using WindowMaker and don't want to use kde, kde qt |

add "-arts" to the use variable. Arts needs kde-base and qt (I think).
I use the following (negatives) in make.conf

build both xmms and mplayer without a problem.
