installing sun-jdk, 32Bit

can I install the 32 Bit Version of sun-jdk (java 1.5) with portage?
I want the benefits of the client hotspot compiler.

and /usr/portage/profiles/package.mask for reason why it's been masked.

You're right, but the ebuild wants only the AMD64-Version file of sun-jdk.
I want to install the 32-Bit version (x86). I tried to set a keyword in package.keywords but this changes nothing on the behaviour - it only wants to install 64-Bit version.
