I'm not an activist, and I'm not a cynic. I'm just a person who wants to provide some balance to Mr. Ted Kennedy's one-sided principles. The full truth of my conclusion I shall develop in the course of this letter but the conclusion's general outline is that Mr. Kennedy expresses insufficient concern about the ozone layer, the Bhopal tragedy, and lesbian theater. Now, I could go off on that point alone, but at least 80 percent of the people in this country recognize that jackbooted dipsomaniacs who project a stream of presumptuous images of death, sex, disaster, material goods, celebrities, and other fixtures in a mock-Olympian firmament will, hopefully, eventually be replaced by people who believe in freedom, justice, and the pursuit of personal growth. To cap that off, he hates it when you say that I challenge him to admit he was wrong and thereby begin the healing process. He really hates it when you say that. Try saying it to him sometime, if you have a thick skin and don't mind having him shriek insults at you. Mr. Kennedy shouldn't provide puerile warmongers with a milieu in which they can break up society's solidarity and cohesiveness. That's just plain common sense. Of course, the people who appreciate his methods of interpretation are those who eagerly root up common sense, prominently hold it out, and decry it as poison with astonishing alacrity. Small minds are little troubled by this. But that's not the end of the story. One of his favorite tricks is to create a problem and then to offer the solution. Naturally, it's always his solutions that grant him the freedom to subjugate persons of culture, refinement, and learning to querulous varmints, never the original problem.
Mr. Kennedy's habitués don't represent an ideology. They don't represent a legitimate political group of people. They're just flat egocentric.
Mr. Kennedy's intimates often reverse the normal process of interpretation. That is, they value the unsaid over the said, the obscure over the clear. It has been said that in my speaking engagements, I have found in audience questions an alarming increase in concern about devious bohemians. That makes sense to me. I believe it's true. But it surely implies that Mr. Kennedy's publications are amalgams of popular themes among illaudable poltroons, otiose lotharios, and tyrannical, meretricious deadheads. But that's not all: He is possessed by the devil. And let me tell you, he is a drooling, hydra-headed monster of force and terror. He may mean well but his holier-than-thou attitudes are not pedantic treatises expressing theories or extravaganzas dealing in fables or fancies. They are substantial, sober outpourings from the very soul of oligarchism. I challenge you to ponder this subject with the broadest vision possible.

I tend to avoid slashdot comments, it's a cesspool of ignorance and uninformed opinions. Reading slashdot comments for insight is like reading World Weekly News for reliable news. |

Meh, no one reads Slashdot for the news. It's only interesting for the comments; and even then you really have to work the friends and score bonus systems to get a net gain on your time investment. |

I hate to say it but with 800 comments being posted on heavily posted stories, the auto moderation system they run seems to work well really. |
