Im having problems with my cdrom, I installe off the live-1.4rc1 cd no problems. Built a kernel installed gnome and everything works great, except when I try and mount a cdrom it lock the system up :-S
I just dont understand it I can still boot off the live cd no problem and Ive tried various cds, I rebuilt my kernel but no joy, has anyone got any ideas I really want to play Q3 linux!!!! |

After it crashes (and you reboot), check your log files. Where they are depends on your logger. I use metalog, and the messages end up in /var/log/kernel/ Take a look at the 'current' file, and maybe the others, and see if anything suspicious shows up. |

Nothing is reported it just freezes the whole system as soon as mount is run :'( |
