now that i have some time i have to do some bugreport
i810 drm can;t be loaded

tryed several versions there is the same problem on all but one(that i can't use too)
recently i tryed with:
CFLAG="-O2" and
[ebuild R ] x11-base/x11-drm-20050502 0 kB
don't change anything
there are a bugfix over the internet
i'll search for it

did you build in into your kernel or did you add it as a module?
if module did you add it to /etc/modules.autoload.d/kernel-2.6 or 2.4 what ever you are using
also there is a use flag for it as well USE="i810" so you might want to add that if you dont have it to /etc/make.conf or ufed

you might want to maybe try USE="i810" emerge x11-base/x11-drm and see if that works or even better would be to add it to the make.conf
then just emerge --newuse x11-base/x11-drm that should rebuilt that package with you video card flag then...
Also sometimes on modprobe it yells like that. So to help this do modules-update and then try modprobe again. |

there is use=i810
and IUSE that is a different thing
i tryed it(requires the ebuild modification)
it didi make the same error |
