|

I was wondering that if i was to make myself a server that i can log on to remotely and then start downloads, bittorent and mirc.
If i log in with my ssh key to my machine from anywhere in the world and then close the ssh session will the download still carry on or will that session terminate the download if i was to close the ssh connection? _________________ Computers are like AirConditioners .... There is a great program called screen. emerge -s screen
It will allow you to create multiple sessions, detach from sessions and reattach at any time. I have been seeing posts about it for years, but about 3 months ago I emerged it and started using it, I don't know how I ever worked without it.
