Hi all
Anyone any ideas why I get the above error when using par2cmdline to check/repair par2 files?
Not sure if its a cross platform problem ie creating pars on amd64 and recreating on ppc.
Tia
ps using it on a powerbook and mac mini and its giving me the same error.

Arh, so i'm not going mad then! thx
Are you able to create par2's and then expand them on your ibook?
I just get the problem across platforms.... _________________ Tyan Tiger K8W, 2xOpteron 240,Powerbook5,6 15" 1.5g, Macbook Black 2g, Mac Mini 1g, Ipod P60g.

I have the same problem Sun v100 running Freebsd Sparc 64. It must be a crossplatform issue like you said. It works fine for me on an x86. I looks like the program hasn't been updated in 2 years so I think we are out of luck. |

Yes, looks like it
I'm surprised that noone else has the problem with ppc though. _________________ Tyan Tiger K8W, 2xOpteron 240,Powerbook5,6 15" 1.5g, Macbook Black 2g, Mac Mini 1g, Ipod P60g.

Can you look on bugs.gentoo.org if there is a bug that describes the problem you experience? If there isn't please create a bug for it. _________________ Please add [solved] to the initial post's subject line if you feel your problem is resolved. Help answer the unanswered

I pulled a patch from Fedora's par2cmdline and it seems to fix the issue. I've attached it on bugzilla. Give it a whirl, let me know if it works for you! _________________ open like a child's mind. |
