Hi all

Anyone any ideas why I get the above error when using par2cmdline to check/repair par2 files?

Not sure if its a cross platform problem ie creating pars on amd64 and recreating on ppc.

Tia

ps using it on a powerbook and mac mini and its giving me the same error.

Arh, so i'm not going mad then! thx ;)

Are you able to create par2's and then expand them on your ibook?

I just get the problem across platforms....

I have the same problem Sun v100 running Freebsd Sparc 64. It must be a crossplatform issue like you said. It works fine for me on an x86. I looks like the program hasn't been updated in 2 years so I think we are out of luck.

Yes, looks like it 8O

I'm surprised that noone else has the problem with ppc though.

Can you look on bugs.gentoo.org if there is a bug that describes the problem you experience? If there isn't please create a bug for it.

I pulled a patch from Fedora's par2cmdline and it seems to fix the issue. I've attached it on bugzilla. Give it a whirl, let me know if it works for you!
