KDE Kicker crashes after upgrade to 3.0.1

I emerged KDE-3.0.1 last night after over coming some difficulty with the RPM 4.0.4 ebuild and now every time a user, any user including root, logs in Kicker crashes with a signal 4. I tried rerunning the emerge today and still have the same results.

I was wondering if anyone else has upgraded to KDE-3.0.1 and seen this problem or perhaps has a suggestion.

I don't have any problems with the kicker.
Have you tried to recreate your kickerrc ? Maybe old settings cause the crash.
Simply rename/remove the old one (should be in ~/.kde3/share/config/kickerrc) and a new one will be created.

I renamed kickerrc and presto kicker is up and running. Thanks again.
