Wallpaper for 2004 --pjp
It's rather hard these days, what with DeviantArt's search function being down, to find cool wallpapers I like, or images I like that I could morph into wallpapers. I'm kinda on a Megaman Zero fling right now... and there aren't a lot of pics of Zero out there. Spent a few hours last night keepin' my ear to the ground, and found some wallpapers you guys might enjoy. I also put together two myself.
Feedback is appreciated, and if any of you find any cool pics, feel free to post 'em as well.
Acquired Backgrounds:
A more recent picture of Zero
An "okay" Zero wallpaper I found, thanks to Altavista.
Coolest one I've found yet... Zero, made by SnoGraphx
Backgrounds I Made:
Simply Zero
Zero - Past, Present, Future

Very nice, but there are some sharp edges in the eye of Gentoo though.
You wouldn't mind doing one in a darker color, darkgrey/black would look very nice _________________ AMD Athlon64 X2 4200+ AM2

A dark blue would be nice, perhaps with some white around the g. Nice work! _________________ Knowledge is power.

Very nice
Only suggestion would be to have the gentoo "G" more prominant as it is currently just a reflection. |

Actually its a bump map. I wanted to make it subtle.
I originally wanted to G to be self-illuminated with a small volume fog rising out of it, but I would have to alter the geometry for that, which is a lot of work. |

Well...
Yeah, I guess.
The G doesn't really fit, and seems a bit... wrong to me somehow... :/
Great wallpaper anyway! Great job... Wish I could do something like that O,o |

Thou asketh and thou shall recieveth....
Wallpaper with re-inforced G and one without the G, coming right up. (Gotta render them first, so it might take a while...) |

That is a beautiful display of blender. Makes me want to take the time to learn it and be able to create something even 1/10th as beautiful. _________________ I'm not afraid of happy endings, just afraid my life wont work that way. |

| It's pretty good, but I would say it needs polishing. The texture of the lips looks a bit like paint - I'd say it needs to be lighter (in texture, not necesserily color). Not bad at all, though. |

I thought it was cool with the painty like textures... Tomorrow I'll try to give her some lip-gloss K?
Don't know if I'll be able to do it, I don't know the GIMP too well...
