|
|
I'm using an iBook G3 with an Airport original wifi card.
Any time I use a hotspot scanning program, they fail to find any networks, and post something similar to this on the console:
Code: | ==>stderr: eth1 Interface doesn't support scanning : Operation not supported |
What should I do to fix this?
Thanks! _________________ Estoy apesadumbrado para mi Español ... estoy practicando ...

Code: | emerge orinoco && ifconfig eth1 down && modprobe -r airport && modprobe airport |
will emerge an airport module that has the extra scanning functionality built-in, shut down your network interface, remove the old module and start the new module. _________________ There's too much blood in my coffeine system... |
