Does anyone know of a php based log viewer that I can use to view my system logs? I'm looking for a simple script that will require a login (doesn't have to interface with a database, but would be nice) that would display my current system logs. Any ideas or should I write this my self. |

There's php-syslog-ng with which you could use a simple htaccess file to secure the login. There's a gentoo wiki article which describes how to setup php-syslog-ng. |

It might work if you configure metalog to log into a mysql database.
php-syslog-ng reads from the database and builds the website from there.
With syslog-ng you configure this with a proper 'destination' statement - with metalog you could use 'command' to do the job.
