Hi all.

I'm emerging OpenOffice Ximian 1.9.118 on by Powerbook, and it just occurred to me that others might like to try it out. It seems to be compiling successfully so far ( this is a first for me ).

Is there any way to interrupt the emerge process and resume it with the options -kb so I can make a package? I know I can 'emerge --resume', but that only continues with the previous options.

You can make a package from it after it's installed with quickpkg.

Aha! Thanks.

Unfortunately the build died almost immediately after my initial post ( complaining about com.sleepycat.db not existing ). Damn! It looked like it was in the final stages too.

Back to 1.1.4 for me ...
