|
|
Hi!
I've created a small script to list "unneeded" packages.
It list packages, which can't be found in the deps of any other package.
The script is located at http://cvs.lpds.sztaki.hu/~zfarkas/list_nodeps.sh
Comments are highly welcome!

there's already a tool called "unclepine" which just do this and more other things... but maybe your script is better... |

What does this do that is different to "emerge --depclean"? _________________ Always cut the deck if it ups your odds. |

Hi!
Right now I do not have root access to Gentoo machines, so the script may not work. Hope this will change in the near future.
But I`ve tried to correct a reported error: in case of a lot of packeges installed, it may say "too many arguments" or something like this.
You may download the actual version from the same URL.
