Salve a tutti,
vi espongo il mio problema: a volte mio papa' vuole lavorare da casa. Con windows un tecnico c'ha creato una connessione VPN e poi Desktop Remoto.
Ho letto di Rdesktop e volevo provarlo, così da non dover bloccare Gentoo magari mentre sta compilando!
Ho installato OpenVPN per fare la connessione VPN e ho configurato il seguente local.conf:

e così via
ca.crt è un certificato che ho creato a caso perché openvpn ne voleva per forza uno.
Con Windows XP invece il certificato non è richiesto. Può essere questo l'errore?

ma su win2 non hai installato openvpn...
vedendo quei numerini magici immagino tu abbia bisogno di pptp! non di openvpn. (sono 2 cose differenti..per fortuna,...)

grazie, ora provo pptpclient. Avevo pensato a openvpn perché con windows per collegarmi al server dovevo fare una connessione VPN.
(quali numerini magici?)

e' la porta di default usata da pptp..

EDIT: la cosa non sara' banale... devi avere il supporto mppe nel kernel.. ci sono molti howto nella rete.
