I'm doing an install from the Athlon XP rc2 LiveCD and I'm just at the part where it asks me to do an "emerge -u world".
While updating portave v2.0.46, it started beeping and told me to update make.global. Of course, I haven't modified this file. Where can I find this file or how can I update it?

if you followed the howto you did an | Code: | | export PORTAGE_TMPDIR="/otherdir/tmp" |
that means the file gets automaticaly updated.. so just ignore it  |
