This is new, I found out about it on the MOL mailing list:

Quick version: Apply the compile patch and the Tiger patch to the rsync version of MOL. Build and enjoy.

Step by step version of what _I_ did (I.E., it works for me, may not work for you):

1. Unmerge existing MOL (I guess that's necessary)
2. run this to get the rsync sources:
Code:
rsync -avz rsync.penguinppc.org::mol mol-rsync
This will create an "mol-rsync" directory. Remeber where it is.
3. Download this compile patch, and this Tiger patch . Save them _inside_ the "mol-rysnc" directory from step 2.
4. Open a terminal and go to your "mol-rsync" directory.
5. run
Code:
patch -p1 < mol_rsync_compile_fix.diff

6. run
Code:
patch -p1 < mol_rsync_tiger.diff

7. Become superuser (su) and run
Code:
make

EDIT: During the graphical config, disable sheep networking thingy. It won't compile on my machine.
Code:
make libimport

Code:
make install

8. Make sure your config files haven't changed (/etc/mol) and/or set them.
9. Enjoy!

Gotta run, hope I didn't miss anything ...

EDIT: Here is the email: http://lists.maconlinux.org/pipermail/mol-general/2005-July/003802.html

I got the email too, I'll get this in the ebuild as soon as possible.

the patch seems to apply on the current stable ebuild without problems. if you install the mol drivers or make any updates to tiger (10.4.2 is out btw) the reboot indeed fails with an "out of memory" error. you can workaround this if you natively boot osx (dont know what to do if you installed osx within mol though). after that mol works again.

The tiger patch is now in the mol-0.9.71_pre1-r1 ebuild. The kext problem might be fixed with the new bootloader I've included, but if it doesn't a native boot should fix the problem.

Cool thx, I'll give it a try.

edit: works a treat ;) thx.

Was already at 10.4.2 so didn't get any errors in that regard.
