Hello!
I want to use for any X-Server one graphic card and one display.
My problem is the following: if i use the first x-server then the other is black (no signal) on my other display.
I use for this configuration two xorg configfiles.
The both files are the same except the screen and display part.
How i can activate both displays, that i can see what is going on the both displays by controlling one and switch the control by activating the other x-server?
If i declare the second graphic card and monitor in the xorg configfile than i can switch the monitor by scrolling out of the first display into the other display and the both screens are activated.
The problem here is the following: if i play quake or something, than i cant switch out of the display to activate the other.
Can i declare hotkeys to activate the display i want to activate?
Somehow "Bind ALT+STR+1 activate DISPLAY=:0.0" or ""Bind ALT+STR+2 activate DISPLAY=:0.1"
I know if i start gmplayer with "gmplayer DISPLAY=:0.1" than gmplayer starts on the second display because without the xinerama option i cant switch the display for a application.
I hope you have understood my problem
Any suggestions?
Bye Chris |
